The Music Rights Awareness Foundation (MRAF) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) have introduced CLIP (Creators Learn Intellectual Property), a new online learning resource about intellectual property (IP) that is available for free.

Globally, content creators are generating record numbers of music, art, and other forms of media, but they frequently lack the knowledge necessary to manage their intellectual property rights and fail to recognise the value of their work and receive appropriate compensation for it.

With the goal of ensuring that creators receive proper credit and compensation for their work, CLIP is an accessible online tool designed to increase the knowledge of their intellectual property rights and the procedures to manage them effectively

This online learning platform was developed by WIPO for Creators, a partnership formed by WIPO and MRAF, with the cooperation of important creative industry stakeholder organisations, including International Authors Forum.

Initially focused on the music industry, it will be filled with selected content from experienced musicians and mentors to assist producers in making better business choices.
