The International Authors Forum (IAF) has signed a joint letter to the Prime Minister of Thailand regarding impending changes to the Thai Copyright Act.
IAF, alongside fellow signatories are concerned about the dangerous impact that proposed overly broad exceptions to copyright might have on creative industries in Thailand. We join our fellow signatories in offering our support to work constructively with the legislative authorities of Thailand to achieve a provision that is compliant with the Marrakesh Treaty, and to the benefit of both visually impaired persons or otherwise print disabled people and creators in Thailand.
