IAF welcomes ten new members from across the globe at the AGM 2026

The International Authors Forum (IAF) is delighted to announce the affiliation of ten new member organisations, further strengthening its global network of authors’ societies and collective management organisations. These new members represent a diverse range of creators, including visual artists, literary authors, poets, academic writers, and non-fiction authors, spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. 

The newly joined members are: 

  • PICSEL (United Kingdom, Europe) – representing visual artists and photographers, safeguarding copyright, ensuring fair remuneration, and promoting professional development. 
  • Circle of Poets of Trinidad & Tobago (Caribbean) – representing poets, nurturing literary talent, promoting literacy, and elevating national appreciation of poetry. 
  • Saudi Professional Literature Association (Saudi Arabia, Asia) – representing literary authors, supporting the literary sector, influencing policy, and advancing professional standards. 
  • Centro Colombiano de Derechos Reprográficos y Digitales (CDR, Colombia, South America) – representing authors and publishers, managing reproduction rights in print and digital formats, licensing works, and distributing royalties. 
  • Association for Reproduction Rights (ADERO, Moldova, Europe) – representing authors and publishers, ensuring fair remuneration for reprographic and digital uses and harmonising copyright legislation. 
  • KazAK (Kazakhstan, Asia) – representing creative professionals, advocating for creators’ rights and supporting the sustainable development of cultural and creative industries. 
  • Tanzania Academic and Non-Fiction Writers Association (TANFWA, Tanzania, Africa) – representing academic and non-fiction writers, providing legal guidance, fostering professional growth, and promoting fair author-publisher relationships. 
  • VEGAP (Spain, Europe) – representing visual creators, protecting economic rights and ensuring respect for copyright. nationally and internationally. 
  • Ekurhuleni Authors Foundation (EAF, South Africa, Africa) – representing literary authors, promoting literary development, literacy, and youth empowerment through mentorship, workshops, and community programmes. 
  • Sociedad de Derecho de Letras (SADEL) – representing authors, publishers and rights holders, managing copyright through licensing and remuneration, and promoting literary creation and international cooperation. 

IAF welcomes these organisations to its global network and looks forward to collaborating closely with them to protect authors’ rights and foster international dialogue among creators worldwide.
