The International Authors Forum was honoured to take part in the World Book Capital Network meetings and events around the UNESCO World Book Capital Closing Ceremony in Strasbourg. This gathering marked the culmination of a remarkable year celebrating Strasbourg as the World Book Capital, recognising its efforts to promote reading, cultural diversity, and access to literature for all.
IAF’s participation underscored its ongoing commitment to advocating for authors’ rights and supporting literary communities worldwide. The event provided a valuable platform for dialogue and collaboration among global stakeholders, reinforcing the importance of storytelling, freedom of expression, and the transformative power of books.
