The Accessible Books Consortium (ABC) is now inviting nominations for the 2025 International Excellence Award for Accessible Publishing. This prestigious award honours both a publishing house and an innovative project that have shown outstanding dedication to improving access to digital books and publications for individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or otherwise unable to read standard print.
The award ceremony will take place during the World Blindness Summit, organised by the World Blind Union, at a gala dinner on 3 September, 2025, in São Paulo, Brazil.
Each year, the award highlights global efforts in inclusive publishing. Past winners in the publisher category include Gerbera Ediciones (2024), Bokförlaget Hegas AB (2023), Kogan Page (2022), and Taylor & Francis Group (2021), showcasing a rich array of international leadership in the field.
